Welcome...
Welcome to LLF Ranch and Rescue. Here at LLF Ranch we take in any unwanted, abused, neglected, or rescue horse. We will either rehabilitate that horse and place it up for adoption or we may just keep the horse here for the rest of its life, however long that may be! We only euthanize a animal if they are in severe discomfort and will not recover or do not have good odds of recovering. All horses are taken care of in a family atmosphere. Any horse coming to LLF Ranch will get any medical attention it needs, it will have all of its shots a current coggins, their feet get done here every 5 weeks and I have a ferrier on hand 24/7 for any emergencies. I have a personal vet on hand 24/7 as well. No horse is turned away. We are a non-profit organization. Any and all proceeds go to our animals and those in need. we will put before and after pictures up of the horses. And if you request them we can send you pictures week by week of their progress. We work with horses on any fears they have and help them overcome them. We work on natural horsemanship and do not beat our animals. We are based in Lady Lake right in the center of Florida. Call for an appointment to come see us and meet the animals. Any and all donations are welcome.

About me
The first horse I bought was a AQHA dapple grey mare I was starting out riding with a woman who needed her horses exercised. The first few times I rode for her I was just pretty much showing her how I can ride and if I could handle the horses. The first horse she put me on was Lucks Lady Frost a 3 yr old mare who hadn't been ridden in a while! My first thoughts were "Oh great this isnt going to be easy" and I was right, it wasn't. Lacey was lazy and didnt want to go any faster than a walk! Well after a while i started to fall in love with her. I was considering buying her but didn't have the finances at the time. A few days after my 4th time riding her on trail rides my good friend Misty called me and said if you plan on buying her you need to do it before this weekend, I lost my job and all horses are going to auction! I could bare to let her go to an auction so I made a few phone calls and got the money to buy her! Ive had her ever since. I currently am a student at Lake Sumter Community College. I am going to school to become a Veterinarian. This is a family owned and operated farm. We cannot afford to have a Staff so we accept volunteers. So if you want to volunteer please contact me and I will set you up. Some instruction for volunteers.
Volunteers Needed!!!!
We need some volunteers. I currently have 6 horses here and only one of me. Volunteering would include grooming bathing fly spraying, feeding, riding, draging our field with a 4 wheeler, cleaning water buckets, and cleaning two stalls. You may be able to baord your horse here if you volunteer a certain ammount of hours a day or week. Will give lessons in exchange for volunteering. Also oppertunitys to adopt a horse or foster parent one.
